Can I get my shutters made to the exact size I need?
YES! At Shutters Canada, all our shutters are made custom sized to match your openings. This means we do not cut down stock shutters to make them fit your openings, it means each shutter is made to fit YOUR windows.

Do you make interior shutters?
YES! Shutters Canada manufactures custom wood interior shutters. We offer you various louver designs to meet your design needs. Our interior shutters can be manufactured for any architectural opening in your home.

Do you make exterior shutters?
YES! We make all of our exterior shutters from pine or cedar, both superior woods noted for their resistance to weather when properly finished. Like our interior shutters, we offer fixed or operable louvered panels in various designs.

What is the cost of shutters at Shutters Canada per square foot?
We do not have a square footage cost on our shutters as it does not work out fairly for you, the purchaser. Basically, because of the extra steps we take to insure that your shutters are the finest available, there is more labor involved per shutter. This is why the price for 2 shutters to fill an opening will be less than 4 shutters to fill the exact same opening.

How do shutters at Shutters Canada compare in cost with other shutters?
If you compare our shutters to those you can purchase through window fashion stores you will find that the prices seem to vary drastically.  At this point it is best to start comparing the quality and service between the companies you are considering. Our shutters are competitively priced with the large box stores. Keep in mind that the large box stores and fashion stores have sub-contractors that perform their installations. At Shutters Canada the same installer that will measure your windows for manufacturing will also return to do the installation. How do shutters at Shutters Canada compare in quality with other shutters?
Our shutters stand on a league of their own but this is something that is best experienced for yourself by holding one of our shutters.   A very important feature in our shutters is how we attach each louver to the pushrod.  Where every other company that we know of uses staples (which eventually loosen and fall out) we use solid steel threaded screw eyes.  The screw eyes are threaded into pre-drilled holes to insure that your louver and pushrod never come loose.  When you are comparing companies, the best way for you to see and feel the difference is to physical see samples from every manufacture you are considering.
